FABRIC
RYST is made with an exclusive, tightly-woven and breathable performance fabric from Italy, that features a 600+ thread count.

MAGNETS
Each RYST features a set of unique and patented Rare Earth Elements (REE) magnets. REE are innovative, unique (and expensive!) types of magnets made with Neodymium-Iron-Boron (NdFeB). The use of Rare Earth Elements makes these magnets far more powerful than traditional magnets. They are treated against corrosion and oxidization through a specific coating which makes them able to withstand and resist environmental factors, including but not limited to humidity and saline fogs (seawater). The magnets are OEKO-TEX and REACH certified, a label that guarantees the absence of materials harmful to the human body. They are fully machine washable and maintain their effectiveness and integrity up to 90°C / 194 °F, which make them able to withstand high temperatures.
ZIPPER
A key component of RYST is the YKK invisible zipper, which allows the fabric to stay protected when the mask is not in use, and keeps the wristband flat with its pleats in place. YKK is a leading zipper company known around the world for its quality and reliability.
EAR LOOPS
RYST’s ear loops were designed to be retractable, and therefore adjustable, allowing the mask to fit comfortably every time. The elastic ear loops were selected after trialing over 30 types of elastics from companies around the world. Some were too loose, others were too compact, some were too thin while others were too thick - after wear testing them for 8 hours at a time, we found these to be just right and hope you will too!
